Reporting illegal content
Use the Report button on any listing, store, profile or review, or write to us. A useful report says where the content is (its link), why you think it is illegal or against our rules, and includes your name and email (not required for child sexual abuse material), with a statement that the report is made in good faith. We confirm receipt and tell you what we decided.
How we decide
Our team reviews reports carefully, objectively and without undue delay; automatic tools may help sort them, but a person takes decisions about accounts. When we remove or restrict content, a store or an account, we tell the person concerned what we decided, which rule or law it is based on, and how to contest it (statement of reasons).
Contesting a decision
Whether you reported content or your content was affected, you can contest our decision free of charge for six months by writing to the contact address and explaining why. A different person reviews it and we reply with our final decision. You may also turn to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body or to the courts.
How recommendations work
The home page, the video feed and suggestions mainly use: your market (country, currency and delivery), your language, how popular and recent content is, and — only if you allow personalisation — what you like, save, follow and watch. You can turn personalisation off and reset your recommendations at any time in Settings; the feed then shows content that is not based on your profile.
Advertising and paid partnerships
ConectaFrik does not show ads based on profiling. Featured or sponsored content is labelled as such, and creators must clearly label content they were paid for or received products for.
Professional sellers
Professional sellers must give us their identity and contact details and certify that they comply with the law; we show them on their store page. Every listing says whether the seller is a professional or a private person.
Minors
ConectaFrik is for adults. We do not show profiling-based advertising, and content that endangers minors is removed and reported to the authorities.
